Refund & Returns Policy

We want every TarOut customer to receive the right product in proper condition. Please read this policy before placing an order on TarOut.in.

1. Overview

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to products purchased from TarOut.in, including TarOut Herbal Tea Bags, TarOut Herbal Powder Tea, TarOut Sugar-Free Syrup, and any other TarOut products sold through our official website.

TarOut products are herbal wellness consumable products. For hygiene and safety reasons, returns are accepted only when the product is unused, unopened, sealed, and in its original condition, unless the item delivered is damaged, defective, expired, missing, or different from what was ordered.

7-day return request window Request a return within 7 days from the date of delivery.
48-hour damage reporting Report damaged, leaked, wrong, or missing products within 48 hours of delivery.
Original payment refund Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method wherever possible.

2. Return Window

Customers may request a return within 7 days from the date of delivery. Return requests raised after 7 days may not be accepted, except in cases where applicable law requires otherwise.

To avoid disputes, please check the package immediately after delivery and keep the original packaging, invoice, shipping label, and product seal intact until the issue is resolved.

3. Items Eligible for Return

A product may be eligible for return when all the conditions below are met:

  • The return request is raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • The product is unused, unopened, and the seal is not broken.
  • The product is in its original packaging with label, invoice, accessories, free gifts, and inserts, if any.
  • The batch number, expiry date, MRP, and product label are clearly visible.
  • The product was purchased from TarOut.in or an official TarOut sales channel.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Because TarOut products are consumable wellness products, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened, used, partially consumed, or tampered products.
  • Products where the seal, label, batch number, or packaging is damaged after delivery.
  • Products damaged due to improper storage, handling, or customer misuse.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or third-party sources not approved by TarOut.
  • Returns requested after the eligible return window.
  • Products bought under clearance, promotional, sample, or final-sale campaigns, unless damaged or wrongly delivered.

5. Damaged, Wrong, Expired, or Missing Products

If you receive a damaged, leaked, expired, missing, or incorrect item, please inform us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us verify the issue quickly, please share:

  • Your order ID and registered mobile number.
  • Clear photos or video of the outer package, shipping label, product label, and damaged or wrong item.
  • An unboxing video, if available, especially for missing or damaged product claims.
Once verified, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on product availability and the nature of the issue.

6. Refund Process

Refunds are processed only after the return request is approved and, where required, the returned product is received and inspected by our team.

  1. Customer submits a return/refund request with order details and proof.
  2. TarOut reviews the request and may approve, reject, or ask for additional proof.
  3. If return pickup/shipping is required, the customer must pack the product safely in original packaging.
  4. After inspection, approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method wherever possible.

Refund Timeline

After approval, refunds are usually initiated within 5–7 working days. The final credit time may depend on your bank, UPI provider, card issuer, payment gateway, or wallet provider.

Shipping and COD Charges

Shipping charges, COD charges, payment gateway fees, and handling charges are non-refundable unless the refund is due to a wrong, damaged, defective, expired, or missing item caused by TarOut or our logistics partner.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order is packed or shipped, cancellation may not be possible and the return process will apply after delivery.

  • If payment was already made and the order is cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.
  • If the order has already been dispatched, the customer may need to refuse delivery or follow the return process after receiving the item.
  • TarOut may cancel an order if stock is unavailable, payment is not confirmed, delivery address is incomplete, or the order appears suspicious/fraudulent.

8. Return Shipping

If the return is due to a damaged, wrong, defective, expired, or missing product, TarOut will guide you on the return or replacement process and may bear the return shipping cost after verification.

For customer-initiated eligible returns that are not due to a TarOut error, return shipping charges may be borne by the customer.

9. How to Request a Return or Refund

10. Important Notes

  • TarOut reserves the right to reject return or refund requests that are fraudulent, incomplete, or not supported by proof.
  • Replacement is subject to stock availability.
  • Refund approval does not apply to claims caused by customer misuse, improper storage, or damage after delivery.
  • TarOut products are herbal wellness products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version published on TarOut.in will apply.
